There is a 400THB National Park fee to get to Maya Bay. Your longtail or speedboat drops you at the floating pier at Loh Samah, you pay the fee and you walk 200m to Maya Bay. This has greatly improved the bay as it is not cluttered with boats. This National Park fee covers you for Bamboo Island as well and any Thai National Park on the mainland upto 3 days.
There is a 20𝗧𝗛𝗕 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 at the Phi Phi Pier whether you arrive by ferry or speedboat. It's payment towards to the up keep of the pier and Phi Phi Infrastructure maintenance. It's worth having the correct change to speed you through...
After the steep steps, which start just 40 meters from Coco's, you will need to pay 20THB for access to the Viewpoints 1,2. This is more of a toll rather than a park fee as you are on private farm land (cashew and coconut). This land owner is Muslim and it is good to repect that.
You can access the top Viewpoint 3 without paying a toll but you need to walk up the tsunami village road and track accross country following the electric posts to get there.
Bamboo Island is a National Park so it is important to keep your National Park ticket from Maya Bay. If you havnt been to Maya Bay you will need to pay 400THB but this will be valid for Maya Bay and any Thai National Park on the mainland upto 3 days.
